Theatre/Dance

Our motto for all theatre tickets is: pay what you can: CHF 15.- / CHF 25.- / CHF 35.-.

We think that theatre, dance and performance should be accessible to as many people as possible. For this reason, our ticket prices are far below the usual level of large theatres in Switzerland. But theatre is also worth something and artists need money. In many of our events, artists receive a share of the income. Therefore, the same applies here: The more you pay, the more goes to the arts. Thank you for your support!

Schools

Pupils from BS and BL as part of a school group pay CHF 5.–
One adult gets in for free; each further adult pays CHF 5.–

Music

Unless otherwise stated, music events are for 16 years and older. Persons under the age of 16 are also permitted to attend the event if accompanied by a parent or guardian. If the parent or guardian assumes responsibility, persons under the age of 16 may also visit Kaserne Basel unaccompanied; they must then bring the completed form linked here to the event. Parties are generally accessible from the age of 18.

Free entry for refugees

Free entry at the evening box office to all shows, as long they are not already sold out. The offer is for everyone with permisson N, F, B. B only with the note «Flüchtlingsstatus». Please show your ID or membership card of Sans Papier Basel at the box office.

Entry

Music Events: Doors usually open one hour prior to the start of each event (see "Doors Time").

For all other events (dance, theater, talks, etc.): Early arrival is recommended, please arrive at least 1/2 hour before the start of the event and note that no admission is possible after the start.
