Supervistas

You want to go to the theater more often? 
You want to look behind the scenes and get to know the creators? 
You want to talk critically about theater, discuss, argue?
You are under 26? 

Then you belong to the Supervistas! Once a week, the Supervistas explore the dance and theater scene of Basel. It's not just about looking, but also about discussing, exchanging and questioning - with each other and with the director, actors, dancers and other experts.

The project Supervistas (formerly known as The Voyeurs) was initiated by Kaserne Basel and junges theater basel in 2012. Supervistas also exist in Bern, Zurich, Lucerne, St.Gallen and Geneva. Supported by Pro Helvetia, Ernst Göhner Stiftung, Abteilung Kultur Basel-Stadt

Season start 1 September 2023 (later entry possible).

When: Every Thursday evening (September to June)
We visit: Kaserne Basel, junges theater basel, Theater Basel, Vorstadttheater Basel, ROXY Birsfelden and others.

Highlights of Kaserne Basel

Finally going to the theatre again and not alone, but in a like-minded group? We have put together a selection of the season's program for you that shows the range of contemporary theatre, dance and performance particularly well. The course introduces you to the artists' working methods and offers space to discuss what you have seen together. The performances afterwards and a catering are part of the course.
